Eligibility (high level — notice)

• Education (core): For Samiksha Adhikari and most listed posts, you need a Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India, or a qualification the Government recognises as equivalent, by the last date for online applications. Some posts need extras (examples from the notice): DOEACC/NIELIT “O” Level, Hindi typewriting 25 wpm, Commerce with Accountancy for Account posts, and so on. You must hold all required qualifications by the application last date; if you are only appearing in the essential-qualification exam, you need not apply.
• Age: You must have turned 21 and must not have crossed 40 on 01 July 2026 (not born earlier than 02 July 1986, not later than 01 July 2005). For PH, the maximum age is 55 years (not born before 02 July 1971). Category-wise upper-age relaxations follow the advertisement (e.g. +5 years for SC/ST/OBC of U.P. and certain other U.P. categories; +15 years for PH of U.P.; Ex-servicemen / CM Fellowship research scholars as notified).
• Reservation: As per U.P. rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS of U.P. and horizontal categories (DFF, female, Ex-Servicemen, PH, outstanding sports persons of U.P.) where they apply. If you are not a permanent resident of U.P., you do not get U.P. reservation or age-relaxation benefits for those categories.
